Environmental protection
Since 2007, we have been manufacturing in accordance with the worldwide ISO 14001 environmental action system. Through our actions, we protect natural resources each year by recovering steel, plastics, wood, paper and cardboard.
Resources Saved
In 2014, we also joined the "resources SAVED" project, which aims to conserve natural resources through recycling.
According to calculations by the independent verification unit Interseroh, so far in this program "resources SAVED."
By doing everyday things, we can affect the environment. Driving a car, preparing meals, doing the laundry, doing the dishes, washing or turning on the lights at home are examples of activities where environmental awareness matters. By managing sensibly what nature gives us and handling waste properly, we contribute to a better life. We also reduce bills for electricity, water, gasoline or garbage collection. We win our own health and save money.
In order to reduce our impact on the environment, we are making changes in the production of products and in our habits. To facilitate this process, we have adopted the worldwide system of measures to protect the environment, ISO 14001. In 2025, we introduced ISO 50001, the international standard for energy management, at Press Glass’ Polish factories.
By implementing the ISO 14001 system, we are contributing to environmental protection efforts:
- We segregate waste so that it can be safely destroyed or reused;
- We reduce the exploitation of natural resources;
- do not allow dangerous liquids to enter the soil and water;
- Our customers receive products that do not burden the environment;
- We support the good image of our clients.
