Bulletproof glass
Bulletproof glass provides an effective security barrier in facilities with heightened security requirements such as banks, government buildings and critical strategic facilities.
A protective barrier against gunfire
Bulletproof glass are used in facilities with a higher risk of attack by firearms, such as banks, public buildings storing valuable items or documents, government facilities, as well as facilities of military and strategic importance. Their function is to protect people and property by stopping bullets fired from handguns or automatic weapons. This function is fulfilled by multi-layered, laminated glass of asymmetrical construction, the design and thickness of which are selected according to the required level of protection. Bulletproof glass resistance classes are defined by the PN-EN 1063 standard, introducing classes BR1-BR7, corresponding to different calibers and types of weapons. PRESS GLASS offers glass tailored to the specific requirements of the facility. All glass units on offer possess the appropriate certification. These certificates are issued on an individual basis for each type of glass unit produced.
