History of the Radomsko factory
In December 2008, PRESS GLASS acquired an investment plot in the Łódź Special Economic Zone in the Radomsko subzone and the construction of another modern factory for the production of insulated glass units and flat glass processing began.
The factory, which initially had an area of 12,000sqm and produced only insulated glass units for window manufacturers, was expanded twice. After the first expansion in 2012, the factory gained an area of 30,000sqm. At that time, a line for high-performance production of toughened glass was also installed there.
After the second expansion to an area of 63,000m2, in September 2015, the Radomsko factory became the largest flat glass processing center in Europe, with the ability to produce virtually all types of glass with maximum measurements of 7,000 x 3,200 mm and to perform virtually all types of processing available on the market. Thus, the company's long-standing plan of being able to supply all glass customers in the construction industry, who are involved in both exterior facades and interior glazing, with an even wider range of products offered in even greater volumes and measurements was realized.
