Sport and support
The Sport&Support campaign has been running for more than 10 years. Through it, we promote physical activity among employees, integrate, but also help by supporting selected charitable causes.
The "We Run and Support" action was created on the initiative of PRESS GLASS employees in late 2014 and early 2015. Behind the idea of the action is an idea that is a combination of promoting an active lifestyle among the company's employees and supporting charitable activities. In 2017, the action gained a new name - "Sport and Support" - expanding it to include new sports, including Nordic walking, bike rides, soccer and volleyball.
How does
Sport&Support work?
All employees of factories belonging to the PRESS GLASS group can take part in the "Sport and suport" action, and in sports events selected by the organizer also members of their families. In some sporting events, the organizer also allows the possibility of participation in the action by external persons, such as those representing friendly local establishments supported by PRESS GLASS.
Participants representing the "Sport and suport" campaign make their own entry fees for the competition. The amounts donated by PRESS GLASS to charity depend on the number of people who complete the competition in the chosen competition and, depending on the discipline, the results achieved, the number of matches won, stages completed or kilometers covered. The organizer will donate a pre-determined amount for each kilometer traveled by PRESS GLASS employees in sports competitions such as running, Nordic walking or cycling competitions.
