on glass surfaces
Anti-slip glass
Anti-slip silk screen printing glass is produced by PRESS GLASS in basic (R9) and increased (R11 and R12) classes. Thanks to anti-slip silk screen printing, the glass gains the possibility of applications in pedestrian circulation areas where safety is particularly important.
Anti-slip silk screen printing
Anti-slip silk screen printing is a solution to increase the safety of using horizontal glass surfaces, such as steps or platforms. Patterns applied with thermally-toughened ceramic paints create a durable, rough structure on the glass, which improves grip and reduces the risk of slipping. This technology makes it possible to combine the anti-slip function with aesthetic qualities, offering a wide range of patterns to match the specific project.
We manufacture anti-slip silk screen printing of basic class R9 for patterns with 20% and more coverage and 100% coverage in any RAL colours and etching imitation, as well as anti-slip silk screen printing of higher class R11 and R12 in 7031 gray and etching imitation.

PRESS GLASS produces silk-screen printed glass according to a standard palette of colors and patterns. When making an order, one should give the pattern number of silk-screen as well as the colour from the standard palette. Realization of individual orders requires consultation and the establishment of conditions with a representative of PRESS GLASS.
Because drying and hardening of silk-screen printing on the surface of the glass occurs during toughening process – the glass must first undergo mechanical processing, i.e. cutting, drilling of holes, grinding and polishing. If you are interested in a wider range of colours, please contact your PRESS GLASS sales representative.
